How To Clean Polished Brass In Piano

I've had my piano for nearly a calendar week, and it was perfect when it got to my house. I used the brass pedals once (barefooted), and  they look old already! Is there a way to clean the pedals to make them look new again? I'll definitely be playing with socks from now on.... it'll be hard since it's summertime though.

Playing in socks is the way to go.  It's what I practise.  My Baldwin grand is 24 years former, but the brass pedal surfaces look new.

BRASSO is the best cleaner. In future do wear socks, as the quality of the brass/finish on your pianoforte seems to be non quite upwards to the marking. Brass pedals should not normally turn bad so quickly.

Ahhh how did you play in bare feet, it feels really odd, uncomfortable and dirty to me. ;D

If information technology's lacquered, y'all can use Pledge to polish the brass and make it all nice and shiny.

Try worying more most your pianoplaying than the looks of your brass pedal ;D
